After one year at Pelister, Goran Ganchev has moved back to Indonesia with Semen.
The 31-year-old central defender Goran Ganchev played for Pelister since last summer, but he announced that he would be leaving in the winter. He will now go back to a familiar place in Indonesia. Ganchev first went there in January of 2012 when he signed for Medan. He played with that club for one year before then joining Persebaya (where he also stayed one year). His new club in the far away country will be Semen from the city of Padang, situated in the island of Sumatra. It will be the 13th team in his career which has included six Macedonian sides.
The 2015 season in the Indonesian Super League is scheduled to start on 21 February. Ganchev will fill the last spot available for a foreign player on Semen Padang as each Indonesian club can only register 3 foreigners.
