Besart Ibraimi netted a goal for Sevastopol in the opening round of the Ukrainian second division, while Daniel Ivanovski assisted for Mjällby in Sweden to help his team notch a narrow win.
Despite the goal by Ibraimi, Sevastopol had a disappointing start in the opening round of the Ukrainian second division. Sevastopol holds the ambition to win promotion this season, but needed a late goal to even salvage a point in the home game against Naftovyk. Ibraimi got the start for Sevastopol and played until the 58th minute when he was substituted by Vladimir Koval. Besart scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute with a right footed shot from outside of the box, although the opposing keeper displayed some bad reflexes on the goal. Naftovyk then scored the next two goals looking for an upset, but Sevastopol scored the equalizer deep into stoppage time to claim a point.
Meanwhile, in Sweden, defender Daniel Ivanovski provided the assist on the lone goal of the game to help Mjällby secure a 1:0 win over Sundsvall. Ivanovski, playing right back, went forward from his position before making a cross that ultimately reached striker Erton Fejzullahu who scored what proved to be the only goal of the game for the game winner. Daniel played all 90 minutes and also made a solid contribution in his team keeping a clean sheet.
