Rabotnichki center-back Gjoko Zajkov is being linked with a move to French top division club Rennes.
We were informed of Rennes’ interest in Zajkov on our twitter feed from a supporter of the club named Bastien L. who can be found at @Puchkin_B. Apparently, French media reported that Rennes has shown interest in Zajkov, a current member of the Macedonian U21 national team.
@MacedonianFooty Hi there, would you be able to tell me more about Gjoko Zajkov, as he is linked with a move to Rennes this summer? 🙂

We interviewed Zajkov earlier this year and he did mention to us that he wanted to move to an abroad club as soon as possible. That new team could very well be Rennes, if the two sides are able to agree to terms.
Rennes plays in the French top division and finished the 2013-14 season in 12th place. Zajkov, 19, became a regular for Rabotnichki this season and has been a fixture on the various youth national teams of Macedonia.
