Germany is eager to get a revenge over Macedonia for the 2:1 shocking defeat in Duisburg earlier in March. They are now led by new coach Hans-Dieter Flick who so far has a record of only wins (4) and stepped in replacing Joachim Löw after the 2020 EURO.
The four time world champion comes in Skopje with their strongest squad with only once important absence of İlkay Gündoğan due to injury. Atalanta left back Robin Gosens is not summoned due to a coach decision as Flick opted for other options.
