Georgia announces squad for EURO play-off

Georgian national team coach Vladimír Weiss has already revealed the squad from which he will field eleven players on Thursday’s EURO play-off against Macedonia.

The Slovak coach has summoned a total of 29 players. Lone debutantes is 22-year-old striker Mikeltadze. Georgia will miss midfielders Giorgi Chakvetadze and Otar Kiteishvili who are injured.

Georgia hosts Macedonia on Thursday at 18.00 CET with the winner booking a place at the EURO next June.
