Macedonian clubs have started the summer preparations and with the friendly matches before the start of the new season. Both Vardar and Pelister started with defeats in their opening tests.
The completely new squad of FK Vardar started with their preparations on the mountain Zlatibot in Serbia. After few days of training, they had the first test match against Serbian side OFK Beograd. Boban Jancevski scored the opening goal for Vardar, but Misan and Zeravica scored for OFK Beograd' win. Macedonian Bojan Markoski played on this match for the Serbian side.
Vardar played with the following squad: Kmetovski, Braga, Stanisic, Gjoshevski, Bozinovski, Gligorov, Meglenski, Jovanovic, Masev, Polozani, Jancevski. Also played: Emurlahu, Aksentiev, Petrov, Osmani, Peev, Najdovski and Jovanovski.
Pelister traveled to Bulgaria for the summer preparations and already started with the friendlies against Bulgarian club Sliven. Dejan Blazevski brought the lead for Pelister, but goalkeeper Nikov was sent-off and the Bulgarian side used the advantage and won the match with the goals by Stojanov. On Tuesday, Pelister will meet Liteks.
