Footballers Union of Macedonia becomes full member of FIFPro

Lead by former footballer Panche Kjumbev who as a central defender played for Borec, Pobeda, Rabotnichki and Polish sides Dyskobolia, Obra and Legia, the Footballers Union of Macedonia (Sindikat na fudbaleri na Makedonija) eventually joined the World Players’ Union as a full member.

Kjumbev, who acts as the president of SFM, was present at Wednesday’s general assembly of the organization known as FIFPro (short of Fédération Internationale des Associations de Footballeurs Professionnels) held in Costa Rican capital city of San José. Macedonia was granted full membership and admitted under its constitutional name.
