A bit of a strange round concluded in which only one game ended in a win, while the other five games finished in draws. Shkendija was the lone team to collect three points in a home win over Napredok. After a quick 2:0 lead, Napredok got back in the game with a converted penalty that also saw Shkendija down to 10 men after Eljmedin Redjepi was shown a red card. However, Shkendija still got a third goal several minutes later. Napredok did manage to get a consolation goal late in the game, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.

Turnovo and Bregalnica Shtip were both playing at home against newly promoted sides, Gorno Lisiche and Makedonija GjP, but each team failed to win, wasting a chance to extend their leads at the top of the table.

The best game of the round took place in Skopje between in-city rivals Metalurg and Vardar. After an even first half, which saw Vardar new signing Antonio Bujchevski scoring his first goal, Blagoja Ljamchevski of Metalurg was shown a red card early in the 2nd half.  That allowed Vardar to capitalize by taking the 1:2 lead through Aco Stojkov, but Metalurg notched a point in the 88th minute thanks to a wonderful free kick goal by captain Mile Krstev.

Another draw was played in Gostivar where the home team faced Pelister. Stênho Júnior scored his first league goal for Pelister in a game that also saw yet another player receive a red card, Fljamur Tairi of Gostivar in the 80th minute.

Yesterday, Rabotnichki and Renova also shared the points in a goalless draw.
