5 matches of 24th round took place today and Pelister is the lone leader after they defeated Napredok, while Rabotnichki, Horizont Turnovo and Vardar failed to win.
Pelister easily outclassed Napredok in a match they dominated and had good number of chances. The visiting team even missed two penalty kicks. Twice Vodenicharov had the chance to convert penalty, but twice Napredok’s keeper Zerdeski saved his shot. However, after the first missed penalty the ball went into corner and Vodenicharov was tallest in the box and opened the scoreline. After the start of the second half, once again Vodenicharov scored to double his team lead and put Pelister on the top of the table. Later in the match, Petar Ljamchevski just confirmed Pelister’s win, while Kushtrim Balazhi of Napredok successfully converted a penalty for a consolation goal.
Shkendija continuned their winning ways and defeated Rabotnichki 3:1. Stênio Júnior opened the scoreline in the 32nd minute, while a brace by Vručina in the second half was more then enough for new three points for Shkendija. Rabotnichki’s lone goal of the match was scored by Kire Markoski.
Vardar once again failed to win, this time against Makedonija Gjorche Petrov, although they had a 0:2 lead in the first 5 minutes and Makedonija played more then 70 minutes with 10 men after Najdovski was sent off. However, Makedonija did not gave up and went on to score two goals in the first half and grab a point from this match.
Metalurg had a bad start in Gostivar after conceding first, but they managed to turn things around and eventually celebrate a convincing 1:5 win. Gostivar’s keeper Neziri got a red card in the first half and that surely helped the visitors.
In the derby of the East, Bregalnica once again defeated Horizont Turnovo. This time it was 1:0 and the scorer of the lone goal was Riste Naumov.
