Filip Petrov has decided to extend his contract with Vardar, after initially stating he would leave the club.

Filip Petrov has extended his contract with the current champions Vardar for the next 2 years.  The winger was looking at foreign options, but in the end decided to return to Vardar.  Petrov compiled the most assists this past season as he created 10 goals.  He will now travel to Zlatibor and join Vardar for their summer training camp. 

Vardar, in the second round of the qualifications for the UEFA Champions League, will square off against BATE Borisov from Belarus.
