With six scored goals for the current Polish leaders Polonia Warszawa, Filip Ivanovski became the top scorer in the Polish Ekstraklasa. He took the attention of Europe and became favorite player of Polonia's fans.

The former regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team and one of the best strikers in the Macedonian league is making a mark in Poland. After eight played rounds, his club Polonia Warszawa is on the leading position with 17 points and Filip Ivanovski is the current leading scorer with six goals. He took the attention of whole Europe, every Polish media and especial the fans of Polonia and as you can see on our photo taken from one of their fans message boards, they compare him with Filip Makedonski (Philip II of Macedon).

 – Football is very popular here in Poland. We have great start of the season. We play very good and we are on the top. My goals have contributed in this success and in this situation, the comments from media and the audience are very positive. I wish that I will continue in this pace and we will continue winning and stay on the top. Our ambitions for this season is to finish in the top positions of the table play in some European competition next season.

Your great form should be awarded with a call in the Macedonian national team. Did Srecko Katanec or some of his assistants ever contacted you, or maybe have watched some of your matches in Poland? Do you expect a call in the national team in the near future?
 – I haven't been contacted by anyone so far, but I'm focused to continue with my good form and by that I wish that I will take the attention of our coach and will get the call soon.

Our national team had good start in the qualifications. We are playing away to Iceland next. What are your expectations from this match and your predictions for the qualifications?
 – I think that we will not be defeated on this match, although Iceland has very good players and it will be very hard to get points there. If we manage to win away to Iceland, then we can count on high placement in our group.
