In the latest FIFA World Rankings that were updated on Thursday, Macedonia moved up 2 places to occupy the 80th position on the list.
Despite not playing a game over the past month, Macedonia gained 22 points due to some previous results being erased. That was enough to move up only 2 places to the 80th position after being 82nd last month. However, Macedonia remains one of the lowest ranked European teams and is the lowest ranked team from the region.
