Macedonia dropped two places to start the new year as the 138th best national team on the FIFA World Rankings.
New year means a new beginning. But the effects of the disastrous 2015 are still (and will be) haunting Macedonia even though we have now entered 2016. This is a period of inactivity for Macedonia and will stay like this until the friendlies in the end of March. Macedonia did not gain or lose points since the last rankings and the move down is caused by the climbing of other teams who were active.
