FFM expelled Shkëndija from next season’s Cup and issued a fine of €105,000

The Disciplinary Committee of FFM today made the decisions on the fines for the Macedonian Cup final. Sileks won the cup with a 1:0 victory, but the final was overshadowed by the rampage of the Tetovo club fans, and the non-appearance of the Shkëndija players at the medal ceremony.

The Disciplinary Committee has issued a decision to fine Shkëndija 15,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnics at the final match of the Macedonian Cup between Sileks and Shkëndija by the ultras group Balisti. It also fined the club 10,000 euros for nationalist chants and slogans with offensive content on a national basis, as well as 20,000 euros for displaying a banner with a Nazi content, for which they were already fined by UEFA.

Shkëndija has also been fined 30,000 euros and excluded from the Macedonian Cup competition for the 2026/2027 season for refusing to accept the medals at the ceremony, as well as for degrading and disrespectful behavior towards the match officials and the opposing team.

In addition, Shkëndija was fined 30,000 euros and got a 4 match stadium fans ban due to disrespect for the national anthem, i.e. booing and discriminatory behavior during the final match of the Macedonian Cup.

The total fine for Shkëndija is 105,000 euros!

The other finalist, Sileks from Kratovo, was fined 5,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnics by the ultras group Krateri in the final match of the Macedonian Cup.

The Disciplinary Committee also commented on the inappropriate celebration of the fans and players of Vardar after winning the league title.

Vardar got fined 15,000 euros due to offensive chanting by fans and inappropriate celebration of the title by the players.

At the same time, the Disciplinary Committee initiated proceedings against Vardar for using of pyrotechnics in the Round 33 match against Shkëndija.
