Based on information received and actions taken regarding the second league match between Kozhuf and Bashkimi 1947, the Department for Security and Integrity of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) initiated proceedings before the Disciplinary Committee due to reasonable suspicion of a violation of the integrity of the match played on May 6, 2025.

As reported by FFM, the procedure is being opened against 7 people from FK Kozhuf, all published with the initials: S.G., P.G., B.K., B.D., J.P., K.S., N.S., as well as against the Kozhuf club itself.
“The procedure is based on the written statements received so far and the relevant documentation and data submitted by the listed persons (coaches, players, club officials), as well as by the match officials (referees, delegate, referee controller, safety commissioner). In the written, handwritten statements, some of the players point to specific persons who they claim gave instructions or orders regarding the outcome of the match,” explained the FFM.
In parallel, the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office – Gevgelija, through the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVR), requested the submission of all documentation related to this match from the 28th round of the 2.MFL, in order to conduct an investigative procedure within the framework of its legal competences.
“We note that the procedure currently concerns the listed persons and entities, but it may be extended to other persons and entities if additional information or evidence indicating their involvement is provided in the further course of the procedure. The case is not closed and the Security and Integrity Department continues to actively review all relevant aspects related to the competition,” the Federation adds.
As a reminder, the Macedonian football public was stirred up by the goal scored in stoppage time, which gave Bashkimi 1947 a 2:1 victory in Gevgelija, and the footage shows how the home defense did not try to stop the attack. Many believe that the home defense was actually deliberately not reacting so that a goal could be scored. Kozhuf was playing for prestige, as they could neither chase promotion to the top flight nor be relegated, while Bashkimi needed a win to stay in the promotion race.
The goal:
“The FFM and the Department of Security and Integrity remain firmly committed to protecting the integrity of the competition and will continue to fully cooperate with all competent institutions to fully shed light on the case.”
