Several Cypriot newspapers are reporting that Ethnikos Achnas is targeting Zlatko Tanevski to strengthen their defense.

Tanevski is 27 years old and spent last season in Poland with GKS Bełchatów.  He was a regular early in the season at right-back but lost his place as the season went on and ultimately made 16 appearances for the Polish team.  Tanevski started his career in Macedonia with Alumina, continued at Cementarnica 55 and Vardar before he moved to Poland where he has played for Lech Poznań and GKS Bełchatów.

Ethnikos Achnas is looking at Tanevski as a possible replacement for Vance Sikov who is expected to leave the team.  Tanevski has played for the youth teams of Maedonia and has one appearance for the Macedonian national team in a friendly against China on 22 December 2010.
