Elmas loaned to Torino

Elif Elmas will play the second half-season in Serie A after his club Leipzig accepted the loan offer from Torino.

The Macedonian attacking midfielder had a bad adventure in the Bundesliga side since his arrival from Napoli exactly a year ago. He never managed to find himself there and played only 22 matches, almost always coming from the bench. He didn’t score a goal and assisted only once.

The move to Torino was the right thing to do. Elmas spent 4,5 years in Napoli and is used to play in Italy. Torino will have him on loan until the end of the current season, but with an option to buy his contract from Leipzig.

Elmas decided to wear the number 11 in his new club. He already passed the medical exams and will have his debut for Torino on February 9 when Torino will host Genoa in Serie A.

“I am very happy to be here, I will see you soon. Always forza Toro!” – were Elma’s first words to the Torino fans.
