Nikola Ilievski successfully put Bangladesh in the 2nd round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.

After the 3:0 win at home in the first leg, the return game in Pakistan ended with a goalless draw. That means that Bangladesh’s national team lead by Macedonian coach Nikola Ilievski “Dzidzi” qualified for the 2nd round of the AFC qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. There, Bangladesh will face Lebanon with the first leg scheduled for 23 July in Beirut, with the return leg a week later in Dhaka. Lebanon is the firm favorite to win the clash.
