Vojvodina announced today on its official website that four players, including Daniel Mojsov, will be removed from the team until the end of the season.
After being eliminated in the Serbian Cup semi-finals by Borac Čačak, who is currently in the relegation zone in the league season, and suffering an embarrassing 5:1 road loss in the last game against Spartak Zlatibor Voda, the Vojvodina board of directors decided to take some drastic measures. The club announced that four players, including Macedonian international Daniel Mojsov, will be removed from the team until the end of the season.
The Vice President of the club’s board of directors said the following concerning Mojsov and his CB partner Branislav Trajković, “When it comes to Trajković (a contract for another year and a half) and Mojsov (a contract for another year), there will be no transition period and no bids for them will be accepted or even considered by the board of directors in any way. The removal of the four players is effective immediately and they will be given a coach with whom they will train separately from the first team. Any possible breach of discipline will result in further sanctions for the players.”
Thus, the season is over for Daniel Mojsov who made 22 league appearances and scored 2 goals. Vojvodina felt the transfer saga surrounding the players has become a distraction, and came to the decision to remove the four players from the squad until the end of the season.
