After only two games which resulted in a draw and loss, Daniel Mojsov will be reinstated to the Vojvodina first team on Tuesday, according to a source close to Mojsov.
Vojvodina announced on 23 April that four players, including Daniel Mojsov, would be removed from the first team until the end of the season and train separately from the team. Well, after a week and two disappointing results, a 1:1 home draw against Javor and a 2:0 loss away to Smederevo, a source close to Mojsov told us that Daniel will be reinstated to the first team on Tuesday.
There are three more rounds until the end of the season in Serbia and this decision was brought by Vojvodina so the club can participate in Europa League qualifications for next season. Vojvodina, currently in fourth position, trails third placed Radnički 1923 by four points. Third place leads to an automatic place for Europa League qualifications so Vojvodina will attempt to catch Radnički 1923 but also work on finishing no worse than fourth place, which can also lead to Europa League qualifications only if Crvena Zvezda beats Borac Čačak in the Serbian Cup final. Right now, Vojvodina only has a one point advantage over Jagodina and Sloboda Užice who are tied for fifth place. Since Crvena Zvezda can’t be caught in second place and has already clinched Europa League qualifications due to that position on the standings, a win in the Serbian Cup final will allow the fourth placed team to also participate in Europa League qualifications. However, if Borac Čačak somehow wins the Serbian Cup, which automatically leads to Europa League qualifications, they will take the spot of the fourth placed team. Thus, Vojvodina will be hoping to catch Radnički 1923 for third place or look to stay in fourth place and hope that Crvena Zvezda beats Borac Čačak in the Serbian Cup final.
