Melbourne Victory full-back Daniel Georgievski will miss several weeks after suffering an ankle injury in a recent training.
Daniel Georgievski rolled his ankle toward the latter stages of a training on 11 December. He immediately began receiving treatment on his right ankle with the hopes of playing on Saturday versus Sydney, but the injury prevented that. Daniel was missing from the Melbourne Victory squad as they drew 3:3 against their rival.

After the match on Saturday, Victory manager Kevin Muscat addressed how long Daniel will be out by saying, “Georgievski will be a couple of weeks minimum, just an unfortunate incident right at the end of training.”

Melbourne Victory will be hoping that Georgievski returns by early January of next year when they take on Perth Glory in an important clash between the top two teams on the table.
