Daniel Georgievski spent a week in Cyprus negotiating with two clubs but he was not satisfied with the offers so he will stay with Šibenik.
As we reported earlier, 23 year old right-back Daniel Georgievski received interest from Cyprus and was given permission by his current club Šibenik to go to Cyprus in order to negotiate with teams interested in his services. He ultimately spent a week in Cyprus training with two clubs but the offers he received were not satisfactory so he decided to return to Šibenik where he will continue his career. Georgievski was supposed to go to Cyprus to negotiate with newly promoted Cypriot club Anagennisi Deryneia but contract talks moved slow before Georgievski was contacted by Ethnikos Achnas which features Macedonian players Edin Nuredinoski and Stojan Ignjatov. So, Georgievski decided to leave Anagennisi Deryneia after a couple of days and joined Ethnikos Achnas at their training camp.
Georgievski conducted an interview with a Croatian newspaper upon his return and stated that he would have been happy to continue his career in Cyprus but he was not satisfied by the offer of Ethnikos Achnas so he then decided to return to Croatia and continue to play for Šibenik. Georgievski is still only 23 years old and was originally born in Australia but he decided to represent Macedonia internationally. Daniel was formerly a member of the Macedonian U21 national team but he is no longer eligible for the youth teams since he is now 23. He has yet to receive a call up to the senior national team. Georgievski is a good athlete as he very fast but he needs to work on becoming more consistent, especially on defense.
