We contacted defender Aleksandar Damchevski to get the latest on his recovery from a knee surgery.

NAC Breda central defender Aleksandar Damchevski, also a member of the Macedonian national team, recently underwent a surgery to his knee. Since there has been little news about his progress, we contacted the player to get the latest on his recovery.

Damchevski told us that he is currently rehabbing in France, the country where he was born, and expects to be cleared to return to action by late June. That is what doctors have told him. So, he’s got two more months to go.

By that time, the season will be over in the Netherlands. Damchevski is unsure whether he will return to NAC Breda for the 2015-16 campaign. He signed a three year contract with the club last summer, but it’s been a tough environment for Damchevski since the fans have been very negative towards him.
