Second league side Bregalnica managed to eliminate last season finalists Makedonija GjP. Holders Akademija Pandev easily advanced, Shkendija knocked out league leaders Vardar.

Bregalnica is the biggest surprise in this phase of the Macedonian Cup. After the lone goal win in Shtip in the first leg, the Blues managed to keep a goalless draw today in Skopje and eliminated Makedonija GjP. The Lions last season reached the final.
Cup holders Akademija Pandev had an easy job in Osogovo and with a new win they advanced.
In the derby, Shkendija defeated Vardar thanks to the lone goal scored by Agim Ibarimi. The visitors will have to wait yet another season to reach the cup final, something they have been dreaming of since their last title in 2007.
