Vardar versus Shkendija is the biggest pair put together by today’s draw for the Round of 16 in the Macedonian Cup.

Probably the two biggest favorites for winning the Cup will have to face each other so early. That was decided by the draw that took place today’s at FFM’s headquarters. Vardar will host the first leg.

Holders Akademija Pandev got a good draw in second league side Osogovo. Interesting clashes between different league clubs are expected to be those between Bregalnica and Makedonija GjP as well the one featuring Pelister and Rabotnichki.

At least one second league side is assured a spot in the quarter-finals as this round features a match between two second league teams, Labunishta against Ohrid.

The Round of 16 pairs:

Shkupi vs. Sileks
Pelister vs. Rabotnichki
Tikvesh vs. Renova
Labunishta vs. Ohrid
Borec vs. Struga
Vardar vs. Shkendija

The first leg matches are scheduled for September 25, while the return for October 30.
