Croatian squad announced

The Croats before the September game against Macedonia; photo: ezadar.hrThe Croatian national team manager, Igor Štimac, announced the squad for their upcoming qualifiers in October against Macedonia and Wales.

Macedonia and Croatia faced in early September in Zagreb when the Croats won thanks to Jelavić’s goal. Štimac called up nearly the same players with the difference that goalkeeper Ivan Kelava and attacker Mladen Petrić are substituted by Dario Krešić and Sammir. Both may have their debut in the October games. Sammir, who is Brazilian, is eligible for Croatia since he holds a Croatian passport sa he resides there since 2007.
