Free agent Nikola Jakimovski has agreed to terms with Como, a newly promoted club in Italy’s Serie B.

The transfer market ended in Italy several days ago, but free agents were still allowed to sign with teams. On Thursday, Como made official the signing of Nikola Jakimovski, a 25-year-year attacking midfielder/winger. Como competed in the third division last season, but they secured promotion to Serie B for the 2015-16 campaign.

Jakimovski was being linked with Genoa earlier in the summer, but that was always unrealistic. With Como, he still finds a club that will allow him to compete in a good league.

Nikola also played in Serie B with his last team, Varese. He accumulated 1 goal in his ten league caps, but Varese was relegated and later declared for bankruptcy.
