Total chaos is going on in the both divisions of the 3rd League North. Three teams have already canceled their participation, and most likely some other will follow their way. This weekend only five games where played from ten. A total mess!
What was the Football Federation of Macedonia thinking when they decided to approve the decision of the board of the North Region to start the new season with two sub-divisions in the Third League North? What is done is done, and now we can see the consequences. FK Demi Impeks from the village of Vaksince and FK Pobeda from the village of Dolno Lisice were expelled from their divisions as they did not showed up on two games, while FK Sopiste from the same named village canceled its participation because of financial problems. And other clubs may quit too.
The problematical situation erupted this weekend when in the division B only two matches were played, while three in the division A.

Both divisions started this season with 10 clubs each, and now the division A currently has 9 teams, while the division B has 8. To be the situation more tragic, FK Slavija from the Skopje quart of Przino has also intentions to follow Sopiste’s example and leave the league. That will leave the division B with only 7 clubs!
In an interview for the daily paper Makedonski Sport, the chief of the Region North, Ilija Jovkov, commented about the tight situation: “The clubs are guilty because they officially requested two divisions with 10 clubs each, which was confirmed by the directors of all the clubs at the meeting with the regional board. Than the clubs became so unserious so pobeda Dolno Lisice and Demi Impeks got expelled because of not playing two matches, while Sopiste has quit because of financial problems. We don’t have any information that Slavija wants to quit as well. In this moment I can’t say anything else except that the clubs are guilty for this situation.”
