Scottish 'Daily Record' today reported that FIFA will take appropriate measures over the unadequate conditions on 'Gradski' in September when Macedonia hosted Scotland in the world cup 2010 qualifications tournament.
Katanec to leave Macedonia
Srecko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team, announced that this are his last qualifications with Macedonia and he will leave the national team when all theoretical chances for qualification are lost.

With the 1:1 against Renova, Vardar continued the row of five draws, while reigning champions Rabotnicki and leaders Makedonija GjP earned easy three points with their wins over Pelister and Sileks in the 15th round of the Macedonian first league.

Teteks destroyed Ohrid away at Biljanini Izvori with 6:1 in the derby of the 15th round. Sloga Jugomagnat kept the first place with the away win in Negotino, Belasica and Shkendija also won, Drita suffered another defeat, this time against Miravci, while Bregalnica Stip failed to beat Cementarnica 55.

With another unimpresive performance, the Macedonian national team was defeated on the friendly match away to Montenegro. One mistake by the defence, one mistake by the referee and too many mistakes in the organization and realization of the attacks, cost Macedonia the 60th defeat in the history.

The Macedonian U21 national team survived another disaster with the 0:3 defeat on the friendly match with the Albanian U21 national team, played in Ohrid today.
Montenegro squad announced
The national team coach of Montenegro, Zoran Filipović, today announced the 19-players squad for the upcoming friendly game against Macedonia in Podgorica. Both biggest Montenegrin stars are on the list, Mirko Vučinić from Roma and Stevan Jovetić from Fiorentina. The only debutante is the 29-years-old defender Miodrag Dudović.
