Mirsad Mijadinoski, the Macedonian defender, has signed a 4-years-long contract with Hungarian champions Debreceni VSC and will have the chance to compete in the Champions League this season.

This year, Macedonia will have one participant in the UEFA Champions League, the 27-years-old national team defender Boban Grncarov, who with Cypriot side APOEL managed to qualify for the groups. Macedonia will also have 3 other players that will participate in the Europa League group stage.

Cup matches from 1/16 final have been played. Vardar, Milano, Turnovo Horizont, Sloga Jugomagnat… all these first league teams have been eliminated, while Renova and Sileks have noted extremely convincing wins.  

None of the Macedonian internationals found the way into the net this weekend, except for Nikolce Noveski who scored in the wrong goal. Few others managed to assist.
