Armend Alimi, the 21-years-old Macedonian national team midfielder, signed a 6-months contract with Croatian club Istra.
Alimi, who was expected to leave Milano anytime, did that on the last day of the summer transfer period. He will play for Istra in the next 6 months, and will hope to move toa a bigger club, if not he will remain at Veruda stadium for another six months.
NK Istra 1961 was last year promoted in the Croatian Prva HNL after they won the Druga HNL. The green-yellow from the city of Pula will fight to avoid relegation this season.
Armend Alimi is in Mirsad Jonuz’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualification games with Scotland and Norway.
