The draw for the first round of the Macedonian Cup took place today. The matches will be played on 19th of August, 2009. There will be only one leg and in case of a draw there will be penalties directly.

Metalurg has shown that has serious ambitions for the upcoming season with the new players they have acquired. Several new well-known Macedonian players have already signed with Metalurg and the club is getting ready for a successful season.

Vlaznimi from Struga, Vlazrimi from Kicevo and 11 Oktomvri from Prilep are the new clubs that will play in the Second League next season after they won in the play-off games today.

The 17th season of the Macedonian First league is completed! The last round was very interesting for the lower part of the table where the play-out teams were decided today.
