Boban Nikolov made his debut as a professional in Viitorul’s loss away to Gaz Metan.

18-year-old Boban Nikolov  made his first appearance as a pro when he came on for Mihai Balasa in the 86th minute. Unfortunately his team Viitorul lost 4:1 against Gaz Metan but Nikolov nevertheless for sure will remember this game. The midfielder joined his current club last summer when he arrived from Academia de Fotbal Gheorghe Hagi who works together with Viitorul.

Nikolov is a product of Bregalnica Shtip’s youth, he played for them until the summer of 2010 when he left Macedonia and signed for Hagi’s academy. Boban so far played for Macedonia’s U17, U18 and U19 national teams and was one of the players which made a good impression during the last years games. If he starts to play regularly in the first Romanian league it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him called up by our U21 coach Boban Babunski. We wish him the best for his future.
