Besart Abdurahimi has joined Kazakh side Astana on loan.

Besart Abdurahimi has left Lokeren and will continue his career in Kazakhstan. Abdurahimi has joined Astana on a loan deal and will try to get more playing time in the East.

Astana is Abdurahimi’s fourth club in his career, after Zagreb, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Lokeren. Abdurahimi has played for the youth national teams of Croatia but made a switch to the national team of Macedonia in May, 2014 and since then he has played 12 matches.

If he gets more playing time in Astana, it is looking likely we will see him back in the squad.
