Struga celebrated a 4:0 victory against Bashkimi in Kumanovo, which obviously did not please the representatives of the home team. After the final whistle, a commotion broke out when the guests were heading to the locker room, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs also informed that after the match, the bus of Struga was stoned.

Based on the submitted report of the match delegate report the FFM Competitions Commission has determined serious violations of order and security after the match.

“After the match ended, while the delegate and the referees were still on the field, an incident occurred in which players and representatives of the visiting team were attacked by persons associated with the home club and the stewards. The incident also involved a person named Burak Hida, who was not reported in the official match report, who physically attacked the representative of the visiting team, Miftar Shakjiri, punching him in the chest, followed by verbal insults and inappropriate behavior towards several members of the visiting team. The incident lasted about 10 to 15 minutes, after which, with the intervention of police officers, the delegate and the referees were safely escorted to the official premises. Additionally, the delegate requested an increased police presence in order to enable the visiting team to leave the stadium safely,” the FFM Competitions Commission informed.

The incident:

It adds that before the beginning of the match, the delegate informed the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that in the event of offensive content towards the state and the FFM, the match would be interrupted. This information was passed on to a representative of the home club, who then entered into a verbal argument with the delegate, challenging his authority.

“In accordance with Article 75-c and Article 77-d of the FFM Competition Regulations, the Competition Commission has decided to suspend the field of the Bashkimi stadium in Kumanovo until a final decision is made. At the same time, disciplinary proceedings are being initiated against FK Bashkimi 1947 Kumanovo and the person Burak Hida, and the case is being submitted for further proceedings before the FFM Disciplinary Commission.”

Burak Hida (39) from Kumanovo was arrested last night by police officers from the Kumanovo Internal Affairs Directorate, the Ministry of Interior (MVR) announced in today’s bulletin.

MVR’s report on the arrest of Burak Hida

“The Football Federation of Macedonia strongly condemns all forms of violence and misconduct and will continue to consistently apply the regulations in order to protect the integrity of the competition and the safety of all participants,” the FFM said.

The suspension on the stadium means that Bashkimi will practically not be able to play at its stadium until the end of the season, considering that they have two more home matches left, in the 30th round against Vardar and in the penultimate against Makedonija GjP. Their remaining matches are away matches against Shkendija (29), Arsimi (31) and Pelister (33).

After 28 rounds in the 1.MFL, Bashkimi sits in 6th place with 37 points, but only 4 points above the play-off zone.
