Antonio Stankov joins FC Oss on loan

Antonio Stankov will spend the upcoming season on loan to Dutch second division side FC Oss.

Roda and FC Oss have reached an agreement for Antonio Stankov to be loaned to the latter club.  Antonio was on trial at FC Oss together with his twin brother Aleksandar but the club only showed interest in Antonio.  Aleksandar was bothered with an injury and that hurt his chances with the club.  The FC Oss coaching staff was satisfied with what they saw of Antonio Stankov so they agreed to take him on loan from fellow Dutch club Roda.  Antonio was no getting any playing time at Roda so it’s probably best that this loan occurred.  Antonio is 20 years old and is a regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team.

The other two Macedonians on Roda, Aleksandar Stankov and Yani Urdinov, have also been told they are free to look for other clubs.  They are not in the plans of the Roda manager so it would be best for both parties to go their separate ways and for the two players to seek a club where they will get regular playing time.  Just like Antonio, Aleksandar and Yani are also members of the U21 national team.
