National team coach Igor Angelovski announced a list of summoned players for a training camp that will take place in the first days of next week.

It will not be a gather of the very best team, but players from the U21 and U19 national team, other domestic based players that are or were part of the national team and some players that play in the neighboring countries and have been allowed to come to Macedonia in these difficult times.
“I have summoned 20 players for the training camp. Most of them come from the domestic league, while a few from abroad. The clubs were given permission by FIFA not to allow their players to take part in the March qualifiers and that means that the list off potential players is not a bit thinner, except for those that will be allowed to show up”, says Angelovski for FFM.
“Our intention is to add dept to our main list of players with footballers that will leave a strong impression at this training camp and on the test match against Rabotnichki. I hope that this training camp will benefit everyone”, added the coach.
Totre, Doriev and Kitanovski were called up in the national team for the last Nations League matches in November, while Stoilov, Radeski and Zahov have also been summoned before, but not recently.
It is good to see on the list the likes of young players like Luka Stankovski, Dashmir Elezi and Matej Cvetanovski, who have played well and deserved a call, but other names put this list into question. For example, Ali Adem hasn’t played a match for like 10 months, Djemal Ibishi has played only 1 for the same period, Agon Elezi is just a reserve in a week Croat club, Gjorgjievski plays the Serbian 2nd tier, while Islaimi is a reserve at Shkupi. So, we rightfully wonder how this players will be able to impress the coach. Adem, for example, was standard player last season at Vardar and even among the better players in the team, but never got a call, instead, now gets a call without even playing.
