Efremov’s new club competes in the Ledman Liga Pro, more specifically the Portuguese second tier, and finished this past season on the 6th position in a league compiled of 24 teams.

The 23-year-old Andreja was one of the best goalkeepers in Macedonia over the last couple of years and finally moved out of the 1.MFL. He played for several Macedonian youth national teams and made his debut for the senior national team in June 2014 against China. In Macedonia he made his first league debut for Metalurg. Afterwards Efremov moved to Rabotnichki where he stayed just a half year before moving to Renova in August 2015.

Hopefully his transfer to Famalicão will help him to climb to a higher level in the near future, maybe by attracting attention from the Portuguese top clubs.
