The 22-year-old winger was officially presented as new signing for Legia on Friday. He is born in US town of Escondido and has started his career in Los Angeles Galaxy academy. In 2013 he joined the UCLA Bruins from where he now moved to Poland. In this year’s MLS draft he was chosen by Colorado Rapids, but he decided to move to Europe. He signed a 2-year contract with Legia with an option for an additional year if both sides are satisfied.
Iloski was scouted while Legia was on a camp in Florida. He even score the lone goal in the 1:1 draw at a friendly against Chinese side Shànghǎi Shēnxīn.
Thanks to his European adventure he will now be closer for the Macedonian federation to take a better look on his qualities. He hasn’t been capped for any US national team, so there won’t be any problems if he opts to play for the Lynx.
