Agim Ibraimi came off the bench to compile a goal and an assist in Cagliari’s 3:0 win over Udinese.
Agim Ibraimi had his best game of the season as he quickly amassed first an assist and then a goal in today’s game against Udinese. The 2013 Macedonian footballer of the year came on for Andrea Cossu in the 77th minute and was very efficient during his time on the pitch. At the time he came on, Cagliari had a 1:0 lead thanks to a goal in the 18th minute by Victor Ibarbo. As for Ibraimi, in the 81st minute, Agim took a free kick from the right hand side which was sent to the back of the net by Matías Vecino. Then, in the 89th minute, Ibraimi finally scored his first Serie A goal with a nice left footed shot past the Udinese keeper, afterwards taking off his jersey as he couldn’t hide his joy of getting his first goal.

Hopefully this goal will serve as momentum for Agim and will lead to more playing time for him the rest of the season. This was his 14th Serie A appearance, and he now has one goal and two assists from those games. The next game for Ibraimi will be next Wednesday when Macedonia takes on Latvia in a friendly.
