Arijan Ademi immediately must undergo a surgery and because of that he won’t be available for the 2020 EURO opening qualifying matches against Latvia and Slovenia.

The medical team at his club Dinamo advised him not to wait anymore as he can’t even play up to 100% due to the pain in his stomach area. He was supposed to resolve this problem earlier, but as captain of the team he did not want to miss the important Europa League clash against Viktoria. He will now head to Munich where the surgery will be performed after which there will be a three-week recovery period.

That means that Arijan won’t be in the Macedonian squad for the matches against Latvia at home and Slovenia on the road, the opening two rounds of the 2020 EURO qualifiers. But, he will also miss other two very important matches, those of his Dinamo against Benfica in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
