Daniel Georgievski opened on the bench for Steaua București before he entered the game in the 40th minute to substitute Doru Bratu, while Boban Nikolov made his first start for Viitorul and scored the fifth and final goal for the visitors in the 65th minute with a powerful left footed shot from the edge of the area.  The 18-year-old Nikolov became the first foreign player to score a goal for Viitorul in the Romanian top division.  Viitorul was only founded several years ago and this is their first year playing in the top flight of Romanian football.

Aleksandar Lazevski started on the bench for Partizan before he entered the game in the 87th minute to replace the injured Vladimir Volkov.  Lazevski was also shown a yellow card in the 59th minute, while on the bench, for an argument with the referees.  Partizan scored the lone goal in the 90th minute to defeat its rival Crvena Zvezda and move one step closer to clinching the league title.

Mario Gjurovski started for Muangthong United and played until the 35th minute when he received his second yellow card of the game, thus leading to a red card.  Gjurovski picked up an earlier yellow card in the 21st minute and then got another booking in the 35th minute for his actions after scoring the second goal for Muangthong United.  Mario scored with a nice chip over the keeper but then decided to remove his shorts and put them on the top of his head, ala Mirko Vučinić who has done that celebration for both Montenegro and Juventus.  The management of Muangthong United did not find Gjurovski’s actions funny and forced Mario to apologize after the game.  He will miss the next match due to a suspension but it’s possible that Muangthong United will discipline Gjurovski even further.

Nikola Jakimovski started on the bench for Nagoya before he entered the game in the 82nd minute replacing Danilson Córdoba.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie Promotion Play-offs, Sparta Rotterdam – Helmond Sport 1:1
Samir Fazli got the start for Helmond Sport and played until the 77th minute when he was substituted by Daniel Guijo-Velasco.  Helmond Sport lost 3:5 on aggregate to Sparta Rotterdam over the two games, thus the club will remain in the Dutch second division next season.

Antonio Stankov played the entire game for MVV Maastricht who was eliminated from the promotion play-offs by losing 1:4 on aggregate to Volendam.  Like Helmond Sport, MVV Maastricht will stay put in the second division.
