League C consists of teams that, based on their performance in the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, fall into the third tier of European women’s international football. The winners of the six groups in League C will earn direct promotion to League B, while the two best-performing runners-up will have the chance to secure promotion through play-offs.
Following the draw, the head coach of the North Macedonia women’s national team, Aleksandar Andov, shared his expectations regarding the upcoming matches and the challenges that lie ahead for the squad:
“For me, success would mean securing more points than in the previous cycle, continuing the development of our young players, and gradually preparing to achieve greater results in the future.”
The group stage matches will take place during three international windows: February 23 to March 6, April 13 to 24, and June 7 to 15, 2027.
