26 players summoned for final Nations League matches

The head coach of the Macedonian national team, Goce Sedloski, today announced the list of players he will count on for the upcoming final matches in the 2026/2027 UEFA Nations League.

Sedloski called up 26 players, including one debutant in Shkëndija’s striker Marko Gjorgjievski, whom he had previously said he planned to call up, but the robust goalscorer was injured. He made some changes compared to the previous list by not calling up certain players, and there are also several returnees.

After missing the previous four matches due to a banal reason related to his visa to stay in Poland, Darko Churlinov is back in the team. Nikola Serafimov (was injured), Stefan Despotovski, Imran Fetai and Boban Nikolov are also back.

The coach also said to the press that he will no longer allow certain players to come to a national team gathering just to see their relatives. One of those who did not receive a call-up is Bojan Miovski, but Sedloski said that he was not called up because he doesn’t play for his Rangers, and not for any other reason.

Others who did not receive a call-up, but were on the previous list, are Gjoko Zajkov, Sabahudin Alomerovikj, Andrej Stojchevski, Gjorge Djekov and Tihomir Kostadinov.

Macedonia is stuck at the bottom of Group 1 of League B with no points and even without a goal scored. The last two matches are an opportunity to improve the impression and maybe finally score a goal.
