Shkendija destroyed Teteks, goalless draw in Kratovo, Pelister and Bregalnica celebrated at home.
7th round of the First League was completed today and it was certainly a historic one. Not because of the results, but because for the first time Macedonian National Television MTV had live coverages of 4 matches. Sileks – Vardar was the main match, while whenever there was a change of score on other stadium, MTV switched to those matches.
In Kratovo, fans saw a poor match. In reality, there were not many chances on both ends and maybe the 0:0 score was the most realistic. Vardar’s biggest chance of the match came towards the last minutes when a dangerous ball from free-kick nearly surprised Bozhinovski, but he managed to react in time.
In Tetovo, the great derby between Shkendija and Teteks took place. Shkendija have defended the favorites role and convincingly won against city rivals Teteks. Artim Polozhani opened the scoreline in 20th minute, but 10 minutes later defender Risto Mitrevski tied the match, after he was the fastest to react in the box when Nikov failed to control a ball from free-kick. However, Muzafer Ejupi gave Shkendija the lead once again, scoring a goal 5 minutes from half-time. Nderim Nedjipi doubled Shkendija’s lead with fantastic goal from free-kick, while Ejupi with his second goal of the match set the final score.
Pelister, easier then expected, got three points at home against Renova. In a match they dominated, the first goals were seen after the break. Blagojche Glavevski scored the first goal, just 3 minutes after the break, after he used Toni Veljanoski’s hard-fought ball and the cross from the left side. Dragan Dimitrovski added one more in the 54th minute, while Glavevski has cemented the win in 75th minute after Blagojche Markovski’s cross from the right side. Marjan Andonov pulled one back several minutes later but that was all Renova was able to do and the Bitola based team got the points as a motivation booster before the derby against Vardar in next round.
Bregalnica also got the points at home against Rabotnichki. Ivan Mitrov opened the scoreline in 15th minute, while Lazar Iliev confirmed the win with a header in the last minutes of the match.
Yesterday, Metalurg won against Napredok, while Drita and Horizont Turnovo shared the spoils.
