Rabotnichki retains Todorovski, adds Todorchev

Blagoja Todorovski has decided to remain with Rabotnicki while the club also signed Goran Todorchev as well, according to newspaper Sport Efe.

The 27-year-old Blagoja Todorovski was thought to be targeting a move abroad but a desirable offer did not come in so he has decided to remain with Rabotnichki.  Todorovski also drew interest from Vardar earlier in the summer, but he was pursuing a foreign adventure at that time.  Since that fell through, Blagoja has now opted to remain with Rabotnichki where he was one of the top permorfers for the club last season.  He primarily plays on the right hand side of midfield.

In addition, Rabotnichki also sighed veteran midfielder Goran Todorchev who last played with Croatian side Inter Zaprešić.  Todorchev became a free agent after this past season and joins Rabotnichki as a free agent.  Goran is more of a defensive midfielder and has already played for Rabotnichki earlier in his career so he should adapt pretty quickly to the team.

Both players signed 2 year deals.  Rabotnichki is coming off a disappointing 2011/12 season in which they finished in only 8th place.  The club is focused on forcing some of its younger players into the first team and veterans like Todorovski and Todorchev should serve as good role models while also affording Rabotnichki the opportunity to be patient in the case that some of the younger players are not quite ready for first team action.
