Elmin Rastoder sign for Panathinaikos

Macedonian national team center-foirward Elmin Rastoder has moved to Greek giant Panathinaikos from Athens.

Panathinaikos on Monday announced the acquisition of Elmin Rastoder from Swiss champions Thun and informed that the 24-year-old center forward signed a 4-year contract.

Rastoder leaves Thun after a great season in which he scored 15 goals and assisted 6 times in 36 appearances in the Swiss League and he was one of the main protagonists in winning the tittle. The previous season Rastoder lead Thun to the title in the Swiss second division. Yes, he and Thun won the top flight right after being promoted.

“I can’t wait to play in front of the Panathinaikos fans.” – were the first words of the Macedonian born in Switzerland.

Panathinaikos paid Thun 3,5 million Euros for the transfer.

The Greens disappointed last season ending 4th in the Greek Souper Ligk 1 and booked a place in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.

Having debuted in September 2025, Rastoder so far has made 9 appearances for Macedonia and is still waiting for his first goal.
