Boban Babunski has announced the U21 squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Saudi Arabia.
With some new names and missing several regulars, Macedonia U21 will play two friendly matches against Saudi Arabia in Germany.
Filip Gachevski, Jasmin Mecinovic, Stefan Ristovski, Fljamur Tairi, Ilija Nestorovski, Aleksandar Trajkovski, David Babunski, Samir Fazli, Ferhan Hasani, Marjan Altiparmakovski, Filip Timov were not called up for these two friendlies. The manager Boban Babunski knows what those players can do, so he decided to test some new players in anticipation for the next qualification cycle when players will need to be born on the 1st of January 1992 and later to be eligible.
Pini Erdogan is an interesting name in attack. He is of Macedonian descent and currently plays in Germany with St. Pauli II. Erdogan was born on 06.01.1992 which makes him eligible to play in the next qualifications tournament. He has scored 6 goals in 28 appearances for his club team. Also from St. Pauli, but from U19 category, comes Asmir Ramadanoski, born on 14.07.1994.
