U21: Goalless draw against Kosovo

Macedonian U21 national team played a goalless draw against Kosovo counterparts.

There were few scoring chances in the first half for both teams. Kosovo’s captain Zeqiraj shot above the goal after corner kick in 19th minute and Berisha took a good header in 28th minute but the ball passed near the post. Trajkov had two chances for the Macedonian team, a head shot after free kick in 36th minute and he managed to score in 44th minute, but the goal was disallowed due to foul over the goalkeeper Avdimetaj.

The second half continued with the same pace as the first one. Trajkov again had the good scoring opportunity in 63rd minute with a head shot but he missed the goal. The best chance for Kosovo was in 71st minute, when Parduzi missed from a near distance. Meljicjhi had the last chance for Macedonia in 82nd minute, after the free kick by Zendelovski.

The next friendly match between these two sides is scheduled  for May 31 at FFM’s Petar Miloshevski Training Center, starting at 15:00 CET.
