Earlier in the week, after Despotovski played in a friendly for Atyrau, he was told to leave but the Kazakh club had a change of heart and invited Despotovski back on trial.

It is possible that Filip Despotovski had lowered his financial demands which led to Atyrau bringing him back on trial.  During today’s friendly between Atyrau and Romanian side Rapid, Despotovski played from the start for the Kazakh team and scored the lone goal for Atyrau in a 1:4 loss.  It should be known soon whether Atyrau plans to sign Despotovski.

Also playing for Atyrau in today’s friendly was Bobi Bozinovski.  The veteran midfielder is also on trial but media in Kazakhstan report that Bozinovski is expected to sign with Atyrau.
